“More Modest Villas Located in the Flat Coconut Groves Behind Lamai Town with Sea View and Beach Villas Generally Located Further South Towards Hua Thanon.”
The majority of properties for sale in Lamai are more modest homes in the flat coconut groves behind town with a large number of boutique developments appearing in this area in recent years. There are a small number of sea view villas located behind these groves however most Lamai sea view villas for sale and also beach villas are a little further south.
Lamai has a more laid-back lifestyle than the towns on the northeast of Koh Samui and this is a major draw for property purchasers who are looking for plenty of conveniences, nightlife, bars, restaurants and of course access to beautiful Lamai beach but with a more “20 years ago” vibe. Saying that, Bophut and Chaweng are just a 15-20 minute drive away and so are in very easy reach.
