The Koh Samui property market offers a bountiful choice of Koh Samui villas for sale from modest townhouses and garden homes to pool villas, hillside sea view properties, luxurious beachfront villas and hilltop retreats. The majority of Koh Samui villas for sale are located around the northeast between Bophut and Chaweng Noi however there are residential properties available to buy in every area of the island.
The normal type of ownership structure available to Foreigners when purchasing a villa in Thailand is through the use of a Thai holding company to control the land and property (though buildings can also be held directly in the owner’s name). Thirty year leases are also available as an alternative though only in a very small minority of properties around the island.
