Koh Samui offers a limited choice of condos and apartments for sale when compared to other Thailand destinations. However, there are still plenty of options  available ranging from 30 sqm studio rooms up to more luxurious 2-4 bedroom apartments often with panoramic sea views with almost no options directly on the beachfront. A limited number of condos and apartments are available to Foreigners to buy 100% direct freehold in their own name, other units without this type of direct ownership structure available to Foreigners through the Thai Condominium Act can be, in effect, owned freehold through the use of a Thai company or thirty year lease.
